Job summary

Phillips Chevrolet currently seeks a Part-time Afternoon Car Porter to support our dealership operations in Bourbonnais, IL. The role focuses on keeping both new and used vehicles clean, presentable, and ready for customers during 2pm–8pm shifts and occasional Saturdays.

You will assist with moving vehicles, stocking guides, and maintaining lot appearance while following directions and safety guidelines. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work part-time afternoon shifts (2pm–8pm) and some Saturdays.
• Maintain clean and presentable vehicles and inventory.
• Able to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning interior and exterior.
• Replenishes fluids and replaces batteries as needed.
• Places buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles.
• Keeps lots neat and orderly and moves cars as directed by GM.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, stalls, and parking lot.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
