The TASTE Bakehouse in Virginia Beach is seeking dependable, detail-oriented team members to join a fast-paced kitchen that operates seven days a week. Shifts are flexible between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with no late nights and a focus on quality prep and bakery production.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, baking, decorating, packaging, and maintaining safety standards while supporting daily production goals.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months of related experience preferred; combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
• Food safety knowledge training or awareness is a plus.

Mansioni

• Prepare bakery ingredients through scaling, cutting, shredding, and other prep tasks.

The TASTE Bakehouse is looking for dependable, detail-oriented team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Our Bakehouse operates seven days a week, with flexible shifts available between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare bakery ingredients through scaling, cutting, shredding, and other prep tasks
• Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to TASTE standards
• Bake, ice, decorate, cut, and package retail bakery items as needed

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One to three months of related experience preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered

• Comfortable communicating in one-on-one and small group settings

Mathematical Skills

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to work with units of American currency and weight measurements accurately

• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and prepare products safely and efficiently
• Ability to reach with hands and arms between 6 and 72 inches
• Ability to communicate effectively in both close-range and louder production environments, including the ability to hear and speak clearly
