Job summary

Court Manor Health Services invites you to join a caring team as an Activities Assistant in Ashland, WI. You will support the Life Enrichment/Activities Department to deliver person-centered programs that enhance residents’ physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being.

The role involves planning and leading activities, engaging residents, and promoting participation in a supportive, resident-centered environment, three to four afternoons per week, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead group and 1:1 activities.
• Escort residents to activities and promote safety.
• Prepare materials and assist with supplies for programs.
• Document resident mood, changes, and participation.
• Maintain monthly calendars and activity spaces.
• Assist with special events, holidays, and family activities.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and visitors.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
