Job summary

Crestwood Terrace is seeking an Activities Aide to engage short-term and long-term residents in recreation and enrichment activities. You will help run exercise groups, games, and reading sessions to support recovery and memory retention, in a friendly, supportive environment.

We offer a flexible schedule, casual Fridays, and a robust benefits package. A high school diploma and computer skills are required, with a focus on compassionate care and teamwork at Crestwood Terrace in Crestwood, IL.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must have computer knowledge.
• Ability to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment physical and criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents in activities to support recovery and rehabilitation.
• Lead or assist with life enrichment events and cognitive/memory retention activities.
• Conduct group exercise sessions, play games, or read to residents as needed.
• Provide compassionate companionship and support to residents and families.
