Job summary

Compass ABA Therapy in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT for afternoon shifts. This part-time role provides one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in homes or community settings, with 3-4 hours per day and flexible afternoons/evenings.

You will help build communication, play, social, and daily living skills under BCBA supervision, collaborate with families, and participate in supervision to grow toward certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (college preferred)
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to complete onboarding requirements
• Meet physical requirements: active movement, standing, and play-based activities
• Experience with children/autism preferred
• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.
• Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.
