Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller BW Converting in Wisconsin is seeking an Aftermarket Technical Support professional to assist the aftermarket business with parts, modifications, and field service. You will work with legacy parts, ERP migrations, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support customers.

Responsibilities include using BW Converting ERP programs and Smartsheet to track requests, identifying part numbers, creating new part numbers and BOMs, and coordinating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical or engineering field with 3 years of engineering/technical support experience, or a high school diploma with 5 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; familiarity with legacy documentation and records management.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Utilize BW Converting ERP programs and engineering tools to perform daily technical support tasks.
• Use Smartsheet as the primary dashboard for aftermarket requests and document communications accordingly.
• Identify and verify part numbers for customers and internal teams; evaluate needs and recommend solutions.
• Create new part numbers and BOMs; collaborate with suppliers and engineering for replacements and substitutions.
