Job summary

Briggs & Stratton, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seeks an Aftermarket Sales & Technical Support Manager to oversee all service, support, and aftermarket activities across North America, driving revenue growth through consultative selling and strategic programs.

You will lead product sales and territory growth, analyze market trends with marketing and product teams, develop dealer support materials, coordinate with distributors and dealers, and present new initiatives to secure orders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, technical field or related field OR equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in technical sales or aftermarket support environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing people preferred.
  • Strong consultative selling and account management skills.
  • Ability to develop clear technical training, conversion kits, and support materials for field execution.
  • Proven interpersonal and negotiation skills to build relationships with distributor partners and dealers.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Managing product sales and territory growth through consultative selling and execution of company programs across North America
  • Analyzing market trends and product gaps to partner with marketing and product management on new solutions
  • Developing dealer support materials and conversion kits to simplify field engine swaps
  • Coordinating communication and operational support between distributor partners and dealers
  • Presenting sales and marketing initiatives to secure new customer orders and strengthen strategic partnerships
  • Maintaining consistent customer communication through scheduled calls and site visits
  • Collaborating with internal leadership to align territory activities with corporate business objectives
  • Monitoring and managing the execution of aftermarket processes, field service protocols, and program delivery standards
  • Overseeing workflow and prioritize process tasks to meet department operational goals

As an Aftermarket Sales & Technical Support Manager your goal is to manage and oversee all service, support, and aftermarket activities with customers across North America to drive revenue growth. You'll expand the profitable sale of a broad range of company products through consultative selling, securing customer orders, and executing company programs. Additionally, you'll serve as a market and technical lead to align product offerings, dealer support, and distributor communication with strategic business goals.
