Job description

Crown Equipment Corporation is a leading innovator in world-class forklift and material handling equipment and technology. As one of the world’s largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient, and ergonomic lift trucks to lower their total cost of ownership.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. This business-to-business sales position is responsible for selling contract maintenance programs for material handling equipment and catalog parts.
  2. Pursue new business and develop key existing accounts within an assigned territory.
  3. Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships through cold calls, presentations, and follow-ups on leads.
  4. Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts.
  5. Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
  6. Prepare quotations, cost reports, performance reports, and customer correspondence.
  7. Create a territory management plan to maximize customer engagement, seek new business, and enhance customer retention by monitoring satisfaction.
  8. Use online resources to maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer files, and calls.
  9. Discuss sales activities regularly with management.
Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related fields, or extensive successful sales experience, is a plus.
  2. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
  3. Valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to operate lift trucks safely.
