Description

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following

• Exhibits a professional demeanor and promotes goodwill between the company and customers to provide a
superior level of customer service
• Effectively analyses problem situations pertaining to breakdowns of equipment and recommend necessary actions
to correct the situation
• Observes, analyzes, and determines corrective course of action for service and repair equipment
• Performs necessary repairs to correct stated existing problems, anticipating and mitigating potential related issues
and future problems in a professional and proactive manner
• Performs scheduled and ad hoc maintenance and modifications on equipment according to company policies and
procedures
• Identifies and reports unsafe equipment conditions, signs of wear and/or signs of improper use to ensure
operational safety and compliance
• Maintains up-to-date, detailed, and accurate work log for all equipment brought in for service and repairs
• Maintains the service center to ensure it is clean, organized, and hazard free inside and out to support a safe and
efficient working environment
• Refurbishes Demo and damaged shipping return trucks as required to meet quality and performance standards
• Installs attachments and custom options for sales and demos as requested
Cross-functional Collaboration Responsibilities
• Engages in troubleshooting and handling escalated production issues with the Senior Operations Manager
• Printing working orders, completing the order, and documenting all work notes in the system
• Communicate daily updated delivery dates
• Any other duties and/or responsibilities assigned by the Senior Manager, Production Operations
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct reports.


Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Read and understand electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Be able to use a Volt Ohm multimeter.

• Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of
customers or employees.
• Mathematical Ability: Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule
form.

Experience or Education:
• Associate’s or Technical School Degree in Mechanics, Electrical, Computer Science, preferred
• 10+ years of lift and/or manufacturing service experience; ideally electric Class I, II, and III forklifts preferred
• ASE and/or A&P certified preferred
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics/diagrams
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Strong direct current (DC) and/or alternating current (AC) electrical ability with ZAPI and Curtis control systems.
• Intermediate in Microsoft suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word), experience with Salesforce a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
