JSG (Johnson Service Group, Inc.) is seeking an After-Market Design Engineer for our Burlington, VT area client. The role focuses on translating design specs into product designs and overseeing manufacturing drawings and reports, collaborating with contract management, QA, and manufacturing.

Requirements include a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in industrial rotating machinery, and familiarity with ASME Code Section VIII/III is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in industrial rotating machinery.
• Experience with ASME Code Section VIII or III is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, standards and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Translate design specifications and code requirements into product design and manufacturing drawings.
• Review customer purchase orders for engineering content and contract compliance.
• Provide technical support to clients for operation and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare Technical Evaluations for revisions or deviations and obtain approvals.
• Review Engineering Change Requests and scope related engineering work.
• Assist manufacturing in achieving design requirements and resolve production conflicts.
