Job summary

Franklin Academy, located in Boynton Beach, FL, is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Counselors for our after-school program. This role involves providing constant supervision, creating engaging lesson plans, and ensuring a safe environment for children aged 5 to 12. Ideal candidates love kids and have some experience in child care.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 2:00 PM to 5:30/6:00 PM. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. Join us in inspiring creativity and learning in our students!

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or higher.
• Previous experience working with children is a plus.
• Department of Children and Families-45hrs. is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct constant supervision of our kids.
• Write and execute creative monthly lesson plans.
• In charge of 25 children at most.
• Maintain accurate student reports as needed.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 5:30/6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• AA (Preferred)
• Department of Children and Families-45hrs. (Preferred)
• CPR and First Aid Certified (Preferred)
• Previous experience working with children a plus
• Must be 18 years or older with HS Diploma or higher education

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.
