Job summary

Glassboro Child Development Centers seeks a Part-Time Program Supervisor to support our school-age programs with administrative tasks and licensing compliance. The candidate should have at least two years of experience supervising an adult team in early childhood, school-age, or camp settings, and hold 60 credits, a CDA, or an Associate’s degree.

Hours are 15 per week, Monday through Friday 2:45 PM–5:45 PM, with occasional evenings/weekends. Salary is $22.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervising an adult team in early childhood, school age, or camp programs.
• 60 credits, CDA, or Associates Degree in related field.
• Current NJ Driver License or access to automobile and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative tasks in accordance with licensing and program guidelines.
• Maintain accurate attendance and CACFP records for all students.
• Assist with interviewing and onboarding new employees.
• In absence of a Site Director, provide direct supervision of staff.
• Maintain daily contact with program and administrative staff.

PART TIME PROGRAM SUPERVISOR WANTED -- IS THAT YOU?

We are seeking a Program Supervisor to assist our school-age programs. The Program Supervisor is responsible for administrative tasks, compliance and staffing support for our school age programs and the right candidate should have at least two years experience supervising an adult team in early childhood, school age, or camp programs.

• This position is MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 2:45PM to 5:45PM for a total of 15 hours weekly, must be available Monday THRU Friday.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Two years supervision of adult team in early childhood, school age or camp program
2. Education/Certification: 60 credits, CDA, or Associates Degree in related field
3. License: Current NJ Driver License, access to automobile and valid auto insurance
4. Knowledge/Training: Childhood development and team management. Familiar with office of child care licensing requirements, age-appropriate curriculum, and continuing quality improvement tools; ability to communicate effectively to/with multiple audiences.
5. Physical/Health: Must be in good physical and mental health; able to lift 20lbs.
6. Professional Development: Must complete 20 hours of relevant annual training.
7. Work Hours/Environment: School facilities, outdoor play areas, shopping, driving a vehicle, 15 hours per week; available for occasional evening/weekend hours to meet agency goals
   

General Responsibilities:

1. Manage administrative tasks in accordance with Office of Child Care Licensing, Child and Adult Food Program, Americans with Disabilities Act and other relevant funding or collaboration agreements
2. Maintain accurate and complete confidential, attendance and CACFP records for all students
3. Maintain proper and secure food, paper supplies and educational materials storage
4. Enforce agency policies and procedures
5. Assist with interviewing and onboarding new employees
6. In absence of a Site Director, provide direct supervision of and arbitrate differences between staff
7. Maintain daily contact with program and administrative staff to discuss issues and provide/receive information
8. Complete duties of a Group Leader, if needed, to fulfill ratio requirements
9. Report concerns to Site or Project Director
