Job summary

The City of St Helens is seeking a part-time Recreation Assistant for their After School Program. This role provides an opportunity to engage with youth through fun activities and require strong leadership and initiative.

Responsibilities include facilitating safe activities, providing clerical support, and collaborating with the Recreation team. Candidates must be 18 and over, CPR certified, and have experience working with youth.

Compensation is $15.45 per hour, with a schedule of 12 to 20 hours per week starting August 24th.

Qualifications

• Must be age 18 or older.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certified or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of hire.
• Experience working with youth in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in facilitating engaging activities for youth.
• Monitor equipment and facilities.
• Provide clerical support for program registration.
