Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking energetic After-School Coaches to teach Yoga to elementary students in Prince George's County, MD. This part-time, after-school role runs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with 1.5-hour sessions and a provided curriculum and equipment.

Ideal candidates are college students pursuing related fields such as Education, Kinesiology, Dance, or Recreation. No lesson planning is required, and the position offers flexible afternoons and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Experience participating in or teaching Yoga or related activity is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Prince George's County.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must successfully complete the Prince George's County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Yoga activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
