Job summary

M and C Creekside LLC in Sacramento, CA is seeking an After School Van Driver who is reliable, caring, and safety-minded to transport students after school. You will ensure children are safely seated, follow safety protocols, maintain schedules, perform vehicle inspections, and communicate with parents and school staff.

A valid CA driver’s license, clean driving record, and CPR/First Aid certification are required. Previous van/shuttle experience and ECE units are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background check and child safety screenings required.
• Experience driving a van, shuttle, or passenger vehicle.
• Experience working with school-age children.
• Patient, responsible and comfortable working with school-age children.
• Strong time management and punctuality skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• 12+ units of Early Childhood Education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to our location from school during afternoon routes.
• Ensure all passengers are securely seated and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain a punctual and consistent schedule aligned with school dismissal times.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure van is in safe operating condition.
• Supervise and monitor student behavior during transport.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and school personnel as needed.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained.
