Job summary

Asheville Learning Center LLC (Zaniac Learning) seeks an After-School Van Driver in Asheville, NC to safely transport students from school to our campus in Biltmore Park Town Square. This part-time role averages 10–12 hours weekly with a typical schedule 2:00pm–4:00pm, Monday–Friday during the school year.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, supervising students, and coordinating with campus staff on schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Prior experience driving children or passengers preferred.
• Patient, responsible, and dependable with a genuine care for children's safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students from school to designated drop-off locations following established routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure van is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain order and supervise student behavior during transport.
• Communicate effectively with school and campus staff regarding pick-up and drop-off schedules.
• Follow all traffic laws, school zone regulations, and company safety policies.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, routes, and any incidents or concerns.
• Assist young or special needs students with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.
