Job summary

SYLVAN OF HERMOSA BEACH and SYLVAN OF MANHATTAN BEACH & EL SEGUNDO is seeking fun, dedicated teachers to deliver reading, writing and math instruction in a small-group setting. The role uses pre-planned lessons, with groups no larger than four and scheduling 2–5 days per week, including weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. This is not a remote position. Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Teaching Credential recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead instruction in small groups (no more than 4 students).
• Use pre-planned lessons and engage students.
• Teach reading, writing, and math up to Algebra II and SAT/ACT prep.
• Maintain a positive, supportive learning environment.
