Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking an after-school supervisor in Florida for a 20-hour week, Mon–Fri, 1:00 pm–5:00 pm. The role involves supervising children, transporting them to activities, and delivering tutoring and enrichment sessions while maintaining a safe, positive environment for children and families.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of teaching experience with school-aged children, and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1 year teaching or school-aged academic experience.
• Valid State Driver's License and clean driving record required.
• First Aid and CPR certification must be current.
• 45-hour DCF school age training required.
• Level 2 background screening required.

Job description

Schedule/Hours: M – F 1:00 pm – 5 pm - 20 hours a weekThis position is responsible for:Supervises children, implements activities, maintains classroom environment, ensures children’s safety, establishes a positive environment for children and families.
