Job summary

Boxwood Learning Center Inc in Roselle, NJ is seeking an After School Tutor to provide academic support, help with homework, and build confidence in a nurturing learning environment. You will conduct one-on-one and small group sessions for students aged 10–15 across four locations (Hillside, Roselle, Rahway, Plainfield), tailor instruction, track progress, and communicate updates to staff.

• Experience tutoring, teaching, or working with school-age children.
• Must have a driving license.
• Strong knowledge in core academic subjects such as math, reading, writing, or science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, encouraging, and adaptable teaching style.
• Ability to work afternoon/after school hours in four locations - Hillside, Roselle, Rahway and Plainfield. Mileage reimbursement available.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to student success.

Compensation: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
