Job summary

Quilla Academy is seeking a dependable, energetic After School Teacher to join our school-age program. This is a part-time, Monday–Friday role with a typical schedule 2:00–5:45 PM, and some flexibility for start times.

Driving for afternoon pickup is valued, with possible hours at 1:45 PM for the route and additional shifts during breaks and summer camp. Starting pay is $13.50–$16 per hour, based on experience and driving responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable and punctual, with reliable attendance.
• Patient, positive, and comfortable working with groups of elementary-age children.
• Able to work approximately 2:00-5:45 PM Monday-Friday on school days.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors.
• Able to meet Georgia childcare employment and background-check requirements.
• Able to work cooperatively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and actively engage with elementary-age children.
• Provide age-appropriate activities, games, art, and outdoor play.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and respectful environment.
• Assist with snacks, transitions, cleanup, and daily routines.
• Help children solve problems and interact positively with peers.
• Work with the program leader and staff cooperatively.
• Maintain supervision and childcare health/safety procedures.
• Assist with afternoon school pickup and transportation if driving.
• Assist with school-break and summer camp activities when extra hours are available.
