Job summary

The Quest Zone Afterschool Program is seeking a part-time After School Teacher to join our popular afterschool programs. No nights or weekends. Monday-Friday afterschool hours with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with 6 months in afterschool or childcare preferred; ECD 101 or related degree preferred. We offer a supportive team and paid trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months in afterschool or childcare programs preferred.
• ECD 101 or a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement the zone-based afterschool program.
• Organize activities that promote student interaction.
• Infuse technology with project-based learning to build knowledge and creativity.
• Teach skills that transfer to continued learning outside the program.

Compensation & Pay Range: $10-$12

Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hours vary slightly by location. Monday-Friday afterschool hours.
• Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing our innovative zone-based program.
• Organize experiences that promote student interaction.
