KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher in Cedar Rapids, IA to lead and mentor teachers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow. You will partner with families and support center goals around enrollment and accreditation.

Preferred qualifications include a CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, CPR/First Aid, and 2–3 years of early childhood experience along with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.

Qualifikationen

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multi-task effectively.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds; indoor/outdoor work.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
