Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring teachers to lead and mentor classrooms, delivering the curriculum in line with each child's needs. You will foster a safe, nurturing space where kids explore and learn, and you will partner closely with parents to ensure top-quality care and education.

The role emphasizes teamwork with staff and leadership to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, while building strong community connections across centers. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task effectively.
• CDA credential or NAECY candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer is preferred.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds; indoor/outdoor work.
• Ability to communicate with children and parents in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
