Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and ability to multitask
• Active CDA Credential or NAECY candidacy preferred
• Approved state trainer preferred
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Must meet state qualifications and pass CPR/First Aid where applicable
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviours and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with parents to support child care and education
• Support center success; work with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Build positive relationships with families, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
