What You’ll Do

Teacher Responsibilities:

Supervision and daily class functions of a group of children
Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
Observe all rules and regulations at Chroma Early Learning Academy and applicable health and safety standards
Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the curriculum
Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages exploration and confident decision-making
Provide verbal recognition and consistent expectations for behavior
Attend staff meetings and school functions; maintain professional appearance
Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
