Compass Collegiate Academy in North Charleston is seekingAfter School Supporters to help transition scholars from dismissal to the after school classroom and to plan meaningful activities under the guidance of the After School Program Coordinator.

You will joyfully engage scholars, distribute snacks, ensure safety and CDC compliance, and maintain open communication with families and staff. This role emphasizes teamwork, community involvement, and supporting diverse learners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in teaching or managing students.
• Enthusiasm for teaching creative subjects.
• Evidence of self-motivation and willingness to be a team player.
• Experience working with a culturally diverse student body preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transition scholars from dismissal to the after school classroom in accordance with the CCA way.
• Plan meaningful activities, directed by the leadership of the After School Program Coordinator.
• Joyfully engage scholars in activities that build relationships and engage their creativity.
• Distribute snack and ensure adherence to CDC and CCA guidelines.
• Take responsibility for safe and compliant pick up for each scholar in accordance to CCA policies.
• Communicate openly, honestly, regularly, and effectively with families, scholars, and CCA staff.
• Attend school wide functions and community events as requested.
