Our Lady Queen of Peace Childcare in Middle River, MD seeks a Substitute Childcare Teacher to care for and supervise children after school hours. The role includes some instruction and educational support with a 3:00 PM–6:00 PM schedule.

Responsibilities include actively supervising children at all times, developing and implementing lesson plans, preparing art projects, meeting basic needs, assisting with bathroom/hygiene, and communicating children’s progress to the director and parents.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required.
• 90-hour Certification or equivalent.
• ADA Certification required.
• 9 Hour Communication Class required.
• Basic Health and Safety Certification required.

Mansioni

• Actively supervise the children at all times.
• Develop and implement lesson plans and activities.
• Engage each child with individualized help and prepared supplies.
• Provide care including basic needs, bathroom assistance, and hygiene.
• Evaluate children’s progress and communicate findings to director and parents.
• Keep classroom clean and organized and maintain attendance records.
