Job summary

Nexplore USA is seeking an enthusiastic instructor in Bakersfield, CA to deliver hands-on after-school classes. Curriculum, lesson plans and all materials are provided. You bring the joy and connect with students while maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment.

Teach weekly sessions at a local site, with program support from a Program Success Manager and curriculum coach. AA degree or higher and experience with children are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• 2+ years teaching, instructing or coaching (preferred).
• AA degree or higher.

• Lead the class with energy and keep every student engaged.
• Arrive early to set up, and hand students off safely at dismissal.
• Manage the room so it stays safe and fun.
• Stay in touch with your Program Success Manager.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children
• AA degree or higher
• 2+ years teaching, instructing or coaching (preferred)
• Educational, training or youth-development experience
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus
• Reliable transportation, and able to commit to every scheduled date
