Job summary

Engineering for Kids of North Atlanta seeks enthusiastic After-School Enrichment Instructors to deliver STEAM lessons at assigned schools and community venues in North Atlanta. You will guide elementary and middle school students through hands-on activities following provided lesson plans.

We require at least 2 years of experience with children, a college degree or progress toward one, and CPR/First Aid certification before teaching.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with children in elementary and/or middle school.
• College degree or pursuing a college degree.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required before teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach the provided lesson plans to students registered for their classes at assigned schools/sites.
• Set up, distribute, and clean up the necessary supplies for activities.
• Maintain a structured and organized class environment using effective classroom management techniques.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
• Follow site-specific instructions and program operating procedures.
