Job summary

The Player Progression Academy (PPA) is a premier sports organization in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Our mission is to create great experiences and holistic development through sports.

PPA offers athletic programs for players aged 2 - 18 with a focus on helping each player achieve athletic excellence, build a dynamic social network, and learn to apply the principles of sport into healthy lifestyle habits that can be carried through life.

Qualifications

• Local to the DC/MD area required.
• Ability to coach 1–4 after-school clinics (1–1.5 hours each).
• Coaching style should be energetic, fun, active and create a memorable experience.
• Strong communication with staff and parents.
• Be a reliable team player willing to assist throughout the season.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1–4 after-school youth sports clinics with a local school partnered with PPA (1–1.5 hours each).
• Positions open for soccer and basketball.
• Assist kids and school staff with the dismissal process.
• Send weekly communications to the parents of the kids in the program.
