Job summary

Kamaʻāina Kids seeks an After School Site Coordinator to lead daily operations at Kailua and Kaneohe sites, guiding staff and staying hands-on with keiki each afternoon.

You will oversee homework support, STEM, arts & crafts, and outdoor activities while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for all participants. This is a part-time role with strong potential for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in classroom, after-school, or youth programs.
• Experience as teacher, instructional aide, paraprofessional, Group Leader, or site lead preferred.
• Ability to lead, organize, and support a team
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Passion for creating a structured, safe and inclusive environment
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead program operations and staff support in the after-school setting
• Maintain family communication and program safety standards
• Supervise activities including homework help, STEM projects, arts & crafts, and outdoor play
• Manage transitions from school to after-school care
• Coach Group Leaders to ensure consistency and quality
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and partners
