Job summary

Innovation Learning is hiring a Head Coach to lead an after-school site at KIPP Wheeler and KIPP Douglass, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children. You will supervise staff, coordinate enrichment, academic support, and family partnerships, while maintaining program records and safety compliance.

This full-time role reports to the Area Director and requires evening shifts, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include leading daily operations, coaching staff, building strong school

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or related field.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily program operations and ensure a positive experience for students.
• Facilitate enrichment, academic support, recreation, and character-building activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment.
• Manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures.
• Supervise and support site staff.
• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members.
• Lead staff meetings and promote a positive team culture.
• Build relationships with students, families, and school personnel.
• Represent the organization professionally within the school community.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate program records and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and behavioral concerns.
