Healthy Kids Programs seeks a School-Age Childcare Site Director for the Nelson Elementary School after-school program. The role focuses on overseeing staff, activities, and family communication in a school-aligned schedule.

The site director ensures safety, timely attendance, and engaging learning experiences for children aged 5–12. Ideal candidates bring supervisory experience, educational credentials in early childhood or related fields, and a passion for mentoring children.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET/TASC).
• Have 3 college credits in management or supervision; or 2+ years in a supervisory role or a plan to complete 3 credits.
• Accumulate 1,500 hours of experience with children in a licensed program or school.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff and program operations meet state regulations and host school requirements.
• Plan and lead engaging activities aligned with the curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, homework support).
• Oversee attendance, registration, scheduling, and staffing levels daily.
• Maintain clear communication with parents/caregivers using the Playground App.
• Collaborate with direct supervisor to sustain high-quality care and positive team morale.
