Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for our After School Program at Highbridge Hill Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role is based at Highbridge Hill Elementary School in New Ipswich, NH, with an hourly pay of $18.00 and a calendar-aligned schedule.

Ideal candidates bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for working with children, and reliable, organized work habits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET/TASC).
• 3 college credits in management or supervision or 2 years supervisory experience or plan to complete 3 credits.
• Minimum of 1,500 hours experience with children in licensed childcare or school.
• Additional qualification options include related degrees or CDA/MACTE credentials and related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff and program operations meet state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and host school requirements.
• Plan and lead engaging activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, homework support).
• Oversee daily tasks: attendance, registration, scheduling, staffing levels.
• Maintain clear communication with parents via Playground App.
• Collaborate with supervisor to maintain high-quality care and staff morale.
