Job summary

The City of Tolleson Parks and Recreation Department seeks a Part-Time Recreation Aide to support the After-School Program for K-6 students. The role focuses on delivering a safe, engaging environment for youth during after-school hours.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, Arizona Driver's License, and Fingerprint Clearance; availability after 3 PM and on some evenings/weekends is required. Training in First Aid/CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Must have a Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Level 1 required upon hire.
• Candidates must be available to work afternoons starting after 3 PM, as well as nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in Kindergarten through 6th grade after school.
• Facilitate recreational and educational activities.
• Create a safe, engaging environment for youth participants.
• Support program needs during evenings and weekends.
