Job summary

Amarillo ISD Education Support Center is seeking an Extended School Day Program Coordinator in Amarillo, Texas. The role involves supervising the ES Day program operations, supporting principals, and coordinating site visits and budget oversight.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree with a Bachelor’s preferred, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced district environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.

• Experience with budgets, payroll, and collections.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel.
• Experience in after-school/Extended School Day programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising management systems for program operation.
• Support principals with day-to-day ES Day activities.
• Conduct site visits to ensure procedure compliance.
• Track site expenses with the ESD Director.
• Develop and deliver yearly staff training plans.
• Ensure confidentiality and non-discriminatory practices.
