Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking an Educational Support Personnel to supervise students in a school-based child care program under guidance of a qualified leader. The role develops and promotes good community relations among diverse school communities.

The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with school-age children, and compliance with district policies. Employment involves non-exempt hours and a need to maintain safe, supportive environments.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old and able to work under supervision.
  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
  • Ability to work with school-age children and follow district policies.

Responsibilities

  • Follows procedures as stated in ECS Procedures Manual.
  • Completes tasks assigned by director, assistant director, or leader.
  • Participates with students in structured and unstructured activities.
  • Maintains safe conditions for students and staff.
  • Supports program discipline policies and procedures.
  • Assists with equipment, materials and supplies.
  • Contributes ideas for enrichment activities and curriculum.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication with parents, students, school staff and co workers.
  • Follows district policies and uses district facilities with care.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Skills

Excellent written and oral comm
Ability to work with children
First Aid CPR Cert or ability
Supervision under director/leader

Education

16 years age minimum
No degree required
