AlphaBEST Education, Inc. invites applications for an After School Program Substitute in Oxnard, CA.

This part-time role runs Mon-Fri 2:00 PM–6:00 PM at local elementary sites, offering $19.00 per hour and a chance to inspire young minds after school with engaging activities. As a substitute instructor, you will lead groups through fitness, arts, technology, and exploration, collaborate with peers, and foster a warm, inclusive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Requires 48 college credit hours and CPR certification.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of students through adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more.
• Collaborate with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.

Location: Oxnard, CA Elementary Schools

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM (No weekends! Par-time)

Here's What You'll Need

• Must have 48 college credit hours, CPR certification, able to get finger printed ASAP!
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency.
