AlphaBEST Education, Inc. in Buena Park, CA is seeking a Part-Time After School Instructor/Primary School Professional to inspire, guide and engage students after school at Mabel L. Pendleton Elementary & Carl E.

Gilbert Elementary. Schedule runs 1:50/2:00–6:00 PM on Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri and 12:00–6:00 PM on Wed. Required: high school diploma or GED, 18+ years, CPR/First Aid certification, flexible scheduling, and state-regulated experience; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
• Bilingual is a plus.

• Lead a group of students through adventures in fitness, arts, technology and more.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children’s sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students’ interests and talents.

Part-Time After School Instructor/ Primary School Professional-Buena Park, CA

Pay: $19.00/per hour

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping memories that children will cherish for a lifetime. As a Program Leader we are looking for individuals to inspire, spark curiosity, encourage creativity, foster a sense of community, warmth, and promote a deep sense of belonging for every child.

Locations:

Mabel L. Pendleton Elementary & Carl E. Gilbert Elementary

Program Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:50/2:00-6:00 PM

Wednesday from12:00-6:00 PM

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
• Bilingual is a plus
