Job summary

The Wenatchee School District is seeking a Site Coordinator for the 21st Century Community Learning Center at Lewis & Clark Elementary. This role oversees after-school and summer activities, reporting to the Project Director, and coordinating enrichment, academic supports, and family programs.

You will recruit and train staff, ensure safety, and collaborate with community partners. Requires a bachelor’s degree and related program experience; bilingual Spanish preferred. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work or related field preferred.
• Two years of successful experience in school-based or community-based programs.
• Experience working with elementary or middle school students and ability to develop programs to improve academics and social skills.
• Demonstrated experience promoting success of low-income students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong computer and organizational skills.
• Training and supervisory experience; online education platforms preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate all aspects of the After School Program including enrichment activities and academic supports.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, community members, school staff and administrators.
• Recruit, train, supervise and coordinate After School Program staff.
• Uphold safety guidelines and supervise students in all activities.
• Collaborate with local organizations to coordinate opportunities for students and families.
• Maintain attendance accounting and reporting procedures; keep records of participation and activities.
• Prepare and present reports on program operation and effectiveness.
• Attend meetings outside normal hours as required.
