AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time After School Program Site Director in Lexington, SC. The role runs Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Elementary School, guiding a team and shaping an engaging after-school experience for students.

Ideal candidates hold an ECE-related degree or CDA with childcare experience, and must pass background checks. The program emphasizes curiosity, safety, and a welcoming environment for children and staff.

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelor's or higher in early childhood education or related field with 18 credit hours in child development/ECE.
• Diploma in child development/early childhood education with CDA and 1 year of licensed childcare experience.
• HS diploma or GED plus ECD 101 and 1 year supervision in licensed childcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead after-school program operations at the site.
• Ensure safety and licensing compliance for the program.
• Coordinate with school staff, parents, and program partners.
• Supervise and develop program staff to deliver engaging activities.

Education

Associates / Bachelor's / Advanced degree in early childhood education, child development, child psychology or related field (18 credit hours in child development or ECE)

Diploma in child development/early childhood education + CDA, plus 1 year childcare experience

Pay: $21.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:30 PM-6:00 PM

The Program Site Director shall be at least 21 years of age and meet one of the following qualifications:

• An associates, bachelor's or advanced degree from a college or university in early childhood education, child development, child psychology or a related field that includes at least eighteen credit hours in child development and/or early childhood education.
• A diploma in child development/early childhood education from a state-approved institution or a child development associate credential (CDA), and one year work experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility.
• A High School Diploma or GED, and Early Childhood Development (ECD) 101 with 1 years' experience in a licensed, approved or registered child care facility. One year shall include supervision of child care staff.

Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations, and provide proof of experience.
