Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor in a dynamic early childhood setting. You will implement the curriculum, create a safe and nurturing environment, and partner with families to deliver high-quality care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with center leadership to drive enrollment and program quality, with opportunities to mentor staff and engage with licensing authorities. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• State trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistently with the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support the center’s success by working with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
