Job summary

Fort Bend ISD in Sugar Land, Texas seeks an Extended Learning Group Leader to provide a safe environment for school-age students before and after school, supervise them, and engage them in developmentally appropriate activities.

You will implement program curricula and enrichment clubs, maintain attendance records, communicate with parents and staff, and participate in ongoing staff training and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for all students in Extended Learning programs.
• Lead a group of children with diverse needs and abilities.
• Facilitate the implementation of program-designed curriculum and enrichment clubs.
• Maintain accurate attendance and headcount for all children; communicate changes with staff.
• Communicate clearly and positively with children, parents, and district personnel.
• Promote the program within the district, school, and community.
