Job summary

Fort Bend ISD is seeking an Extended Learning Group Leader to provide a safe environment for school age students before and after school, supervise children, and engage them in developmentally appropriate activities at Triplex Center in Sugar Land.

The role requires implementing program curricula, establishing enrichment clubs, maintaining attendance records, and coordinating with staff to ensure a positive, orderly learning atmosphere and compliant program operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED or an acceptable equivalent.
• College transcript may be used in lieu of HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for all students in Extended Learning programs.
• Lead a group of children with diverse needs and abilities.
• Facilitate program-designed curriculum and enrichment clubs (art, gardening, chess, etc.).
• Maintain attendance records and communicate changes with staff.
• Participate in staff development and program improvement initiatives.
