Job summary

27J Schools is seeking a part-time Child Care staff to supervise students aged 5 to 12 in the before/after program at Pennock Elementary. Responsibilities include maintaining attendance, planning activities, coordinating with parents, and collecting tuition.

The role operates Tue–Fri 3:00–6:00 pm on a 9‑month calendar with no benefits eligibility. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid and universal precautions certifications within a month of hire, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR, First Aid and Universal precautions certifications required within one month of hire.
• Medication Administration and delegation training must also be acquired within 1 month after hire.
• 15 hours of child care training within the 12 months.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a post offer, pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to pass a Colorado and Federal Bureau of Investigation background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students ages 5–12 in before/after program and maintain attendance records.
• Prepare and implement materials for group activities and assist with homework.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and communicate with parents as appropriate.
• Receive tuition payments and distribute registration materials.
