Job summary

YMCA of Central NM is seeking an After School Program Staff to supervise a group of children in a School Age setting. You will deliver quality activities aligned with YMCA values and ensure safety and participant well-being.

The role involves engaging with parents and staff, supporting program operations, and participating in trainings and events at multiple locations across the Albuquerque area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Experience with children in school-age settings preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of children in a School Age setting.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with YMCA values.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain safety procedures and program standards, including emergencies.
