Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field for education or child development.
• Experience or coursework in child supervision and curriculum planning preferred.
• Familiarity with safety policies and collaborative teaching environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead small and large group activities.
• Supervise and interact with children.
• Discipline children in accordance with program policies.
• Maintain classroom environment and supplies.
• Follow procedures to safeguard health and safety of children.
• Cooperate in team teaching.
• Build positive relationships with families.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Plan and implement daily curriculum to promote development.
• Purchase materials and supplies per procedures.
• Serve and record nutritious snacks daily.
• Submit daily lesson plans two weeks in advance to Administration.
• Orient substitutes and new staff; attend team meetings.
• Communicate regularly with Administration; attend monthly meetings and in-service workshops.
• Participate in parent meetings and events.
