Job summary

Immaculate Conception Catholic School is seeking an After-School Care staff member in Columbia Heights, MN to support students after school hours. The role involves supervising children, assisting with snacks, and coordinating activities with families.

Prior childcare or school nutrition experience is preferred and a background check is required. The position is part-time, Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., with a starting wage of $17.00/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in school nutrition, childcare, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Background check required.
• English and Spanish are preferred for oral communication.
• Social security number or legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate after-school programs, including scheduling, supervision, and communication with parents.
• Assist with other school nutrition and student supervision duties as assigned.
• Supervise the safety of children on the playground during after-school hours.
• Serve after-school snacks and maintain records as required.
