Job summary

Lowell Community Charter Public School is seeking an after-school program facilitator to lead a classroom from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on school days. The role includes planning engaging activities, supporting curriculum, and assisting students with homework.

You will record attendance, collaborate with team members, and help run program events aligned with the 21st Century Learning Community program requirements. Prior after-school or camp experience with children in grades K-6 is preferred.

• Experience leading after-school programs for K-6 students.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead your class or section.
• Facilitate check-in circle time.
• Lead engaging activities that support learning and belonging, and that support the curriculum of LCCPS.
• Assist students with their homework.
• Record daily attendance and homework tracker.
• Work collaboratively as a team.
• Participate in the planning program events.
• Meet program requirements of 21st Century Learning Community Program.
