Job summary

Tiny Town Childcare & Learning Center - Kent and Painesville is seeking a School-Age Teacher to supervise and guide children before and after school. You will lead routines, homework time, and enrichment activities while ensuring a safe, structured learning space.

Experience with school-age children is preferred, and we offer support for School-Age Endorsement training. A valid driver’s license and bus‑driving ability are required for daily routes and occasional trips.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with school-age children preferred.
• Endorsement training available for candidates who need it.
• Ability to meet state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage school-age children in daily activities, homework time, and enrichment.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Drive the small school bus for daily routes and special events.
• Transport children for field trips when needed.
• Follow all safety, licensing, and center policies.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff.
• Assist with full-day programming during breaks and summer.
• Support with classroom organization and activity prep.
• Model positive behavior and conflict resolution.
